Job Description Your new role We're looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference—for our customers, for each other, and for CSC. Our Cloud and IT Infrastructure Team is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to be responsible for the designing, deploying, and managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions. Ideally you will be a seasoned Linux expert with substantial experience in infrastructure management, proficiency in cloud technologies, and a thorough grasp of IT industry standards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, expandability, and security of our infrastructure, thereby enhancing the organization's overall effectiveness. Desired Skills and Experience What you'll need to excel CSC's Core Competencies reflect the key sets of skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours required to perform your role effectively. These are; Delivering results and meeting customer expectations Working with People Adapting and Responding to Change Deciding and Initiating Action Analysing Commercial and Strategic Thinking In addition to these, you will need; Extensive experience in infrastructure administration and management and Linux administration (Redhat). Advanced scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, ansible, terraform) for automation and orchestration. Experience with security software such as defender, airlock are highly desirable Due to the nature of the role, successful candidate will need to an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Level Federal Government security clearance.
