They are seeking an experienced claims or legal professional to manage a mixed liability portfolio.Benefits includeSalary up to $150,000 (depending on experience).Educational assistance.Flexibility to work from home.Extra annual leave.About the RoleIn this role you will join a small team and will be responsible for a portfolio of complex mixed liability claims including personal injury and professional indemnity.Your duties will include:Management of a portfolio of mixed liability claims for several corporate and commercial clients.End to end management including investigation, negotiating settlements, and determining and advising of coverage and liability.Conduct claim reviews, ensure best practice.Management of varied claims across General Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, D&O and Employment Practices Liability including litigated and non-litigated claims.Assist in the development of claim processes and strategies.Manage complaints in an efficient and effective manner.Build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with brokers, insurers, underwriters, and solicitors.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience handling a variety of liability claims.Proven ability to manage complex, high value liability claims.Experience in legal (paralegal, newly qualified solicitor etc.) would be highly advantageous but not essential.Experience liaising with corporate clients.Effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.How to ApplyTo express your interest in this opportunity please submit your resume online or should you wish to speak with a consultant please contact Karla Smith on 0416 968 010.
