About the position:This leadership role is central to our person-centred approach which ensures enhancement of the psychological, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being of our residents. Our Leisure & Lifestyle team make it a reality!
You will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the Leisure and Lifestyle team in:
Delivering recreation activities to our residents and actively supporting them to maintain their physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social wellbeing.Assessments, reviews and ongoing evaluation of the lifestyle program to ensure positive client outcomes and support ongoing education and improvements in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.Encouraging our clients to attend and engage in our numerous programs specifically created to meet the needs of our residents.About you:You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, supporting them to facilitate independent living, health, and happiness. You are experienced in leading teams to deliver quality programs in a multicultural aged care organisation.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or working towards (or equivalent).Experience in leading lifestyle activities.Strong ability to develop lifestyle care plans.Knowledge of Aged Care National Quality Standards.Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to work independently.You'll also enjoy a range of benefits:Be part of a warm, friendly team that genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing.
