About the Role The Senior Legal Writer - Mergers & Acquisitions role is a full-time permanent role to be based in Australia, preferably within commuting distance of one of our State-based offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth) but with the opportunity to work flexibly and/or remotely.
With strong practice experience as a mergers & acquisitions lawyer, you will have a solid understanding of the practical processes, transactions and regime relevant to mergers & acquisitions law in Australia.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain high quality up-to-date practical legal content.
Prepare and maintain practically-focused content as well as practical resources for our popular Practical Guidance product that is Australia's most established and trusted 'how-to' of legal practice.
Provide support to Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
Participate in or contribute to in-market activities (eg masterclasses, webinars, customer feedback sessions).
Requirements 5+ years PQE
Australian qualified lawyer
Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm
A recent practice background as a mergers & acquisitions lawyer
Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills
Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholders
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
