Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
These are Legal Officer Grade 4 roles with salary starting from $134,483 + Super and all our other benefits

About the Role
You'll provide high quality legal advice and support to the Department, including work on Departmental strategic priorities and complex high-risk matters. There is a broad range of legal work delivered in the Branch including administrative law, statutory interpretation, native title, commercial law and work health and safety. Your strategic thinking and flexibility to work across a range of matters will be essential in achieving our goals.
Your Responsibilities
Working closely with senior management to identify and manage legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Drafting and reviewing a range of documents and resources, such as complex legal documents, training tools, contracts, agreements, and legislation.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business areas to ensure effective collaboration.
Fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
Work health and safety or native title experience is highly desirable for some roles in the team.

Eligibility to hold a current practising certificate in NSW.
