As part of BCG's global team of employment lawyers, you will build the centre of employment expertise, providing support on employment legal matters within the ANZ region, and ad hoc support across other Asia Pacific countries and regional/global projects. You will cover the full range of employment issues, including onboarding, offboarding, investigations, disputes, regulatory issues, global and local HR processes, mobility, and immigration matters. You will partner with other members of BCG's global employment centre of expertise on global projects, coordinate with HR, and integrate into BCG's Global Legal Team to resolve complex HR and employment legal issues. You will contribute to developing and maintaining Legal Team intellectual property, work with external counsel, and perform other duties as assigned.
You are an exceptional lawyer, able to efficiently deliver high-quality work, with substantial experience in advising on commercially sound, strategic, and outcome-based solutions to people issues.

You are an Australia qualified lawyer with work experience in ANZ employment law, with deep strategic and operational employment law expertise. You have 6-8+ years of total PQE experience, with at least 4+ years PQE of practicing labour and employment law as your sole remit. You have prior in-house counsel experience preferred within a complex international organization, and are comfortable presenting to both large and small audiences. You are fully fluent in English, with excellent grammar, and have gravitas to influence and persuade senior/challenging stakeholders.
You will work with a variety of cohorts and functions across the company, including local and global HR stakeholders, members of the BCG Global Legal Team, Immigration/Mobility, Finance, and the Partnership. You will report into the Employment group of the Legal Team, with your direct manager based out of Singapore.
