Senior Legal Counsel

Position OverviewOur client, a highly reputable organisation in the financial services sector, prides itself on fostering a growing, dynamic culture and is seeking an enthusiastic senior lawyer to join its legal team.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be exposed to a large variety of work in a collegiate and fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have funds management or broader financial services experience within a regulated environment.

Exposure to general commercial matters including strong contractual drafting and negotiation skills is essential.

Demonstrated exposure to commercial agreements; regulatory, licensing and compliance; corporate governance; and risk management is desirable.

Candidate RequirementsCandidates from reputable firms who have a practical approach to legal advice and strong stakeholder management skills will be successful in this role.
