Our Senior Legal Counsel Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Legal Counsel will be integral in supporting Clarke Energy to meet its business objectives and assisting the various business units to perform their day to day operations.
As a senior member of the in-house team, you will provide accurate and timely legal advice across areas such as contracts and contractual negotiations, commercial advice in construction transactions and disputes, service contracts and tender responses. The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for legal and commercial consideration of various opportunities within construction projects, service/maintenance arrangements and parts agreements to add value and to minimise risk to Clarke Energy.
About you
This role will suit a senior commercial lawyer with at least 5 years of experience (more senior applicants also encouraged to apply) gained in a quality commercial firm or in-house role. While you will possess honed legal and technical skills, to succeed in this position you will need a blend of legal and highly evolved interpersonal skills, as well as a commercial approach to your legal advice. You will be solutions focussed, able to work with autonomy, and be a skilled drafter and negotiator.
