Senior Legal Counsel - Employment

Senior Legal Counsel – EmploymentLeading Technology OrganisationSydney – Hybrid WorkingA leading, rapidly growing technology company is seeking an employment senior legal counsel. The role will report into the Head of Legal and involve working closely with various teams and leadership across the business.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic legal advice on a range of employment and workplace matters.Assist in developing policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.Monitor and identify emerging employment and workplace issues and developments from a legal or regulatory perspective.Work closely with and advise the People & Culture team on managing and resolving workplace complaints and investigations, performance management, and disciplinary proceedings.Assist the legal team on broader commercial contracts as required.Key Requirements:Ideally a minimum of 8+ years PQE.Previous employment law experience gained from a renowned law firm or in-house organisation.Exposure across Asia Pacific will be viewed favourably but not essential.Proven experience in advising across a broad range of employment-related areas, including international relocations, appropriate workplace behaviour, workplace health and safety, performance management, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace complaints and investigations.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise multiple matters and stakeholders.Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.A positive attitude and someone who enjoys working as part of a team as well as autonomously.If you're looking to work in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing business with career progression, please click the 'Apply' button.
