Senior Legal CounselGeneralist In-HouseSydney CBDOur client, a leading global organisation, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel. This role will report to the Deputy General Counsel and work within their collegiate and focused legal team in Sydney. You will be responsible for contributing to the strategy and success of business operations through the provision of expert legal advice to key stakeholders and project teams.Key Responsibilities:Drafting and negotiating general commercial contractsProviding advice on contract lawManaging, negotiating & advising the business on a range of commercial IT agreementsAdvising and reviewing intellectual property matters and privacy lawKeeping the business up to date on regulatory issuesMentoring and managing more junior lawyers in the teamLiaising closely with the business and external counselKey Requirements:Ideally between 6-8 years PQE gained in-house or from a respected private practice firmBroad ranging corporate, regulatory and/or commercial law experiencePrior exposure to commercial IT agreementsResilient with a calm demeanour & a solutions-focused approachStrong interpersonally with an ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholdersIn return, you will receive:A competitive remuneration packageOpportunity for promotion internallyA friendly, collegiate and supportive working environmentA host of other benefitsTo apply for this position, please click the 'Apply Now' button below.
