SLR Consulting has a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Legal Administrator to join our friendly and hard-working Contracts & Risk team ideally on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week).
Using your previous experience, you will work within the team providing efficient and reliable assistance to our in-house legal and commercial team members as well as technical consultants and external clients.
Key Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the APAC's Contracts and Risk team.
Administer the shared email register to ensure contract review requests are prioritized and distributed to the contract review team and tracking of key response times.
Assist with the review of SLR's standard form consultancy services contracts and related other agreements and escalate any risk concerns where required.
Assist with the preparation of commercial documents such as reliance letters, release deeds and statutory declarations.
Assist with the preparation of Master Services Agreement (MSA) summaries and coordinate the timely update of contract extensions and rate reviews.
Coordinate contract negotiations and facilitate written communications between internal stakeholders and external clients.
Administer the Contracts and Risk documents and coordinate updates in consultation with the Quality Management and Document Control teams.
Coordinate contract executions within the APAC region.
Review supplier registrations against insurance and Quality Management System requirements.
Arrange insurance certificate notations as required under contract.
Deliver a high standard of work, ensuring the Contracts and Risk team are aware of the internal and external deadlines and interested parties are kept well informed.
Skills and experience A minimum of 10 years' experience in either an inhouse legal team of an engineering/environmental science consultancy, or within a commercial law firm will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will also have: Relevant paralegal qualifications or equivalent experience.
Detail focused and able to work with tight timeframes.
Computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.
High level of professionalism and organization.
Excellent administrative and problem-solving abilities.
