In this role, you will be integral to the design and delivery of a curriculum that connects academic knowledge with real-world clinical practice, ensuring graduates are prepared to thrive in a competitive and globalised healthcare landscape.
As Academic Lead for the Foundation Clinical Year program (Year 3B), you will focus on surgery and medicine, guiding students through lectures, tutorials and hands-on clinical learning to develop the skills required for their future practice.
This position uniquely bridges academia and the medical profession, enabling you to use your clinical expertise to inform teaching and assessment while strengthening partnerships between Monash MD students, Monash Rural Health Bendigo and local healthcare providers.
Your leadership will enrich students' placements through small group facilitation, curriculum innovation and practical application of medical knowledge.
