About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

A degree or equivalent or higher qualification in an area relevant to Translating and Interpreting. Bachelor of Education (Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning) awarded by the University of South Australia, or educational qualifications deemed equivalent by the Classification Committee Thorough knowledge of the NAATI certification and testing system (testing formats, live scenario formats etc). Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential. Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required. May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA. Upon appointment, the successful applicant must meet the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, for the delivery of this educational program regulated by ASQA and, complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment within 12 months of appointment.
