About the role You will join our newly created Delivery Practices division dedicated to optimising portfolio resources and processes to ensure maximum value for our members.
As the Senior Leader, Business Analysis Chapter, you will establish and develop a formal resource chapter for Business Analysts, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring high-quality support for programs and projects.
You'll also cultivate a community of practice that promotes improved quality and efficiency in line with portfolio standards, while strategically sourcing candidates through partnerships with internal and external talent providers.
Success in this position will be reflected in improved quality, faster decision-making, streamlined processes, and transparent reporting to the Executive Committee and Board.
Responsibilities include: Establishing and optimising the BA Chapter by managing a pipeline of high-quality resources to enhance value for People First Bank.
Leading a 'player/manager' chapter structure that balances hands-on work with effective people leadership.
Implementing robust resource supply and demand management practices.
Fostering active partnerships with Program Directors to maintain a dynamic view of Business Analyst performance and capabilities.
Conducting regular quality assurance reviews to drive continuous improvement in project scoping.
Optimising candidate sourcing for programs/projects through partnerships with our internal talent team.
Developing and implementing a Business Analysis capability development strategy to create internal talent pathways.
Overall, as a key member of the Delivery Practices Leadership Team you will execute our strategy and elevate colleague engagement to world-class levels.
About you To be considered, you will have strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen, complemented by highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Additionally, you have strong presentation skills, enabling you to convey complex concepts effectively, while demonstrating exceptional organizational abilities.
Your experience in a value stream delivery model is highly desirable.
We also seek: Solid leadership experience in either finance, strategy, or project management.
Experience in lean portfolio operations.
