Senior Energy Lawyer - Renewable Energy - IPP

I am partnered with Australia's largest IPP who operate and own their renewable energy assets amongst Australia.

My client is looking for a Senior Energy Lawyer, to join the in-house team where you will work closely with the legal team and report to the Deputy General Counsel.

As a Senior Energy Lawyer, you will bring legal expertise from working within the Renewable Energy sector where you will provide lead legal support, negotiation and drafting with respect to multiple renewable energy projects agreements related to development, construction and/or operations, and PPA's.

What you need:

8 + years post admission experience in private practice or in-house at a relevant business.
Experience as lead lawyer in the drafting and negotiation of major commercial contracts in the energy sector.
Experience drafting and negotiating project contracts for renewable energy projects or gas projects.
Experience drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements or access/connection agreements and other offtake arrangements, or retail energy contracts.
