Senior Lawyer 4+ PQE - Brisbane We are seeking an enthusiastic Lawyer to join our high performing Real Estate Brisbane team. This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to: Join a tier-one ranked real estate practice Collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful Real Estate team Work with a variety of clients, and help our clients bring to life some of the most significant and game changing projects in Queensland The role Working closely with Michael Richardson and Paula Noble, you will gain hands-on experience in an array of matters across both public and private sectors, ranging from typical property development work to large property and infrastructure project work and providing support to a range of other practice groups (i.e. Corporate, Renewable Energy and Resources, Public Sector). You will be responsible for managing reasonably sized property transactions and will be encouraged to foster great client relationships. The team has an unrivalled portfolio of major commercial clients and is renowned for its expertise in advising many major players in the real estate industry. The team is also considered a trusted advisor to many State and Local Government clients. With such a broad mix of clients, across differing industries and a balance of private and public sector work you will have the opportunity to work on diverse matters including: Capital transactions work for our big institutional clients; The impactful social and affordable housing projects which will change the life of so many Queenslanders impacted by the housing crisis; A variety of renewable energy projects - we are working on some innovative renewables project including hydrogen, wind farm, solar, hydro and carbon capture, all game changing as the world transitions to renewables; Transport projects in all forms with focus on improving the rail and road networks and infrastructure across Queensland; Infrastructure projects in readiness to host the 2032 Olympics; and Some leasing work, generally major head office/industrial leasing for our clients. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have Substantial broad-ranging property experience, exposure to different types of property matters and ideally between 3-6 years' post admission experience. Strong academic background with excellent client-facing capability. The ability to challenge the status quo and be able to demonstrate a strong legal grasp of key principles relevant to Real Estate. Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff. Strong time and project management skills. The ability to work as part of a team. An enthusiasm to learn and grow as a real estate lawyer. In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to learn the ropes from the team and put those skills to work to help the team to provide outstanding service to their clients.
