Central Tablelands Local Land Services are currently seeking two proactive, hands-on Senior Land Services Officer's (NRM) to identify and manage a variety of priority landscapes and threatened species projects and programs throughout the region.

About the Role
Lead project teams & provide high quality natural resource management & sustainable agricultural information, advise & extension services to farmers, land managers & the community.

As part of a varied and dynamic regionally dispersed team you will:
Engage with landholders and the community to lead and deliver on ground priority projects, as well as work with the broader NRM team to identify new project opportunities Manage projects delivering on ground services, working closely with government, industry and private partners Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within LLS and build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders within the region Negotiate and resolve complex natural resource management issues Deliver emergency planning, preparedness, response and recovery services Monitor, evaluate, report and improve programs and projects and contribute to strategic planning About You
Ideally you'll have:
A degree in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management, biosecurity or emergency management.
If not, you'll have an equivalent level of industry knowledge and experience A passion for natural resource management The ability to work closely with and understand the needs of both landowners and community groups Sound prioritisation skills when managing conflicting goals and deadlines Knowledge of landscapes and threatened species Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive and solution focused attitude with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems for both yourself and others as they arise Demonstrated project management experience combined with proven relationship management and partnership development As an essential requirement of the role, you'll also need to have a current NSW Driver Licence, and the capacity and willingness to travel throughout Central Tablelands NSW as required.
