The Senior and Junior mini school looks to provide high-quality support to students to enable them to demonstrate the high expectations that we have of students around their learning, behaviour, and attendance.
The mini school focuses on learning, behaviour, and attendance, the daily learning experience of students, as well as other aspects for all students in years 10, 11, and 12 regardless of their needs and complexity.
Our mini school team models these high expectations with all interactions with students, staff, and parents/caregivers.
It is a fast-paced environment with dynamic leaders working toward achieving set AIP goals as well as the College vision.
All staff work with students and staff members regularly to achieve these objectives and enhance the students' experience at the College.
We are currently looking to fill two administration positions at both our Junior and Senior Schools.
The role requires motivated individuals who are willing to undertake the full range of administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of a secondary school.
Responsibilities:
Carry out allocated activities and tasks determined by the school consistent with the role description.
Assist senior students in maintaining high expectations in their learning by providing support to enable them to meet these expectations.
Engage positively and model high expectations with students.
Ensure rolls are marked by teachers.
Contact parents about student absences and ensure these are immediately followed up with appropriate attendance codes applied.
Support and advise the year level team in following up students with low attendance.
Send absence letters to parents.
Issue students with Late Passes and Uniform Passes.
Support with data collection and visualisation to support school priorities.
Follow the staged response to interventions and liaise with the Administration leader to support student outcomes.
Assist with the student census twice yearly.
Create meeting documents.
Provide suspension support.
Liaise with and provide information to parents, students, and staff.
Assist with the organisation of school excursions and camps.
Participate in professional learning activities.
Undertake any additional duties as requested by the Principal, Mini School Principal, and Business Manager.

SC5: Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management in respect to the work area.
