Senior Java Engineer

Fully Remote, Java Engineer Position. This is for a brand new start up company in the fintech space. 
This is truly a rare opportunity to join a team that is working on a new state-of-the-art platform from the ground up and hence will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to steer and own any outcome.

We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and experienced Back-end Java Developer to join a team of 10. This can be preformed remotely role, and the ideal candidate will be able to work effectively from a home office environment. You will be responsible for contributing to the development of interactive user experiences for web application.

You will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the development team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain microservices on AWS using Java to ensure the highest level of performance, scalability, and security.Familiarity with one or more existing microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot.Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code in Java.Collaborate with the cross-functional development team to drive projects to completion.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques relevant to the back-end development.Provide input and suggestions for improving the development process.Familiarity with AWS technologies is required.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Strong proficiency in Java and experience with microservice architecture.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well in a remote team environment.
