Senior Java Developer (Contract)

Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, AWS, microservices Working on complex systems solving genuine technical challenges in a forward-thinking, tech-first company Hybrid working arrangement LONG-TERM CONTRACT We are partnered with a leading tech company who are looking to add a Senior Java Developer to their high-performing team on a long-term contract basis.
Over the next few months you will take ownership of delivering several initiatives within a high-visibility project. Collaborating with like-minded Engineers, you will be developing complex back-end Java applications within a microservices-based architecture sitting on an AWS CI/CD pipeline.
We are looking for:
At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Java Engineer in a mid-large organisation Hands-on experience with APIs, Microservices & Serverless Architecture Experience with Kafka Experience with AWS Appreciation of best practices:Clean Code, TDD/BDD, Design Patterns, IaC, CI/CD, containerisation, etc. Excellent communication & problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
