Senior IT Project Manager - Full-Time - Permanent RoleOur client, a well-known pillar of the community, based in the Western Suburbs is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their team and lead transformative technology projects.As the Senior IT Project Manager, you'll oversee the successful planning, execution and closure of multiple Business and ICT projects.
Your role will be pivotal in driving collaboration, managing risks and delivering outcomes aligned with strategic goals, all while fostering positive stakeholder engagement and ensuring project benefits are realised.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Leading Business and ICT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.Managing project plans, schedules, resources and stakeholder communication.Identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues and ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.Mentoring and guiding project teams to uphold best practices in project management.Overseeing the successful transition of projects to operational teams, ensuring seamless handovers.The successful candidate's skills and experience will include but not be limited to the following:ICT project management in local government or public sector environments.Knowledge of contemporary change management, business process re-engineering or enterprise application integration.Exceptional communication and leadership skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.A demonstrated ability to deliver complex business and IT projects with measurable success.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate ambiguity and complexity.A tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or a related field, with extensive project management experience.This exciting role offers a competitive salary up to $144,000 + super and our client has a flexible hybrid working policy, however given the nature of the role it is anticipated that you will be onsite 3 days (or as required for key project activities and success).Want to apply?Either hit apply or send through your CV to (emailprotected) and I'll be in touch with more details.
