About the Position The Senior Integrated Communications Advisor plays a leading role in providing strategic communications advice to business units at Manningham. This senior advisor is responsible for developing and implementing communication and engagement plans to promote a variety of Council services, programs, projects, and initiatives to ensure we meet our objectives, brand, and stakeholder expectations.
Skills and Experience Tertiary qualified in communications or another relevant field. A great storyteller, able to identify key outcomes and messages from reports and meetings and develop a strong narrative to inform and advise community, staff, and Councillors. An innovator with a track record of developing and delivering effective communications that encourage engagement with the community. A strategic thinker with an understanding of the diverse needs of the community, the local government environment, and the ability to plan for delivery of high-quality outcomes. A problem solver, able to resolve issues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Flexible in responding to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes. A collaborator with demonstrated success in partnering with key stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
