Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are: Provide expert advice and assistance to clients, management, and staff for business as usual (BAU) technical activities, technology solutions, and state-wide projects.- Support and maintain technology assets, assist with risk and compliance audits and coordinate lifecycle activities for state-wide assets including servers, patching, replacement, and backups.- Mentor and provide technical leadership to the Technology Support regional unit staff.- Represent the Technology Support team in the assessment and implementation of planned technologies and solutions.- Monitor and improve the outputs of the team, assist with the creation and management of rosters, on-call and overtime arrangements, to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained.- Prepare and implement procedural documents and standards required for the support of technology across the customer portfolio.
Role Requirements
Highly Desirable
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an enterprise-scale ICT services environment including experience in the technical implementation of ICT projects.
Desirable
Experience in the use of ITIL framework.- Experience with mobile device technologies.- Experience in Windows server (2008 and above).- Experience in Windows 7 SOE and above.- Experience with ITSM tool management for IT service delivery.
Special Conditions
This position is required to: Undertake on-call duties, overtime and work outside normal business hours.- Travel intra and inter-state as needed.- Possess a current open Queensland 'C' class driver's licence.- Participate in deployments and 24/7 roster during emergency and major incident events.- Perform some manual tasks e.g.
moving computers and printers (Workplace Health and Safety policies apply).
