What will you accomplish? As an Industry Advisor for Natural Resources ANZ, you are instrumental in helping Natural Resources organisations progress their digital transformation agenda by understanding their strategic objectives, the trends and challenges impacting their business, and how SAP can help deliver the outcomes they need. You will engage with customers directly early in the sales process with your industry and product knowledge, and in-depth knowledge of what drives value creation for Natural Resources companies.
You can establish credibility within our ecosystem and customers and in the industry. You will provide thought leadership, demonstrate your understanding of business imperatives, and work well with SAP sales/partners to align on a strategy and empower them to execute.
General activities: Support SAP customers, SAP sales and partners with industry expertise as a trusted advisor and thought leader on topics crucial to the success in the Natural Resources industry. Participate in customer engagements to assess strategic objectives, map out key opportunities for incremental value and breakthrough innovation, and present justification for change. Work closely with the sales team to understand the needs of customers in your industry and advise them on an industry sales strategy. Present our industry credentials and solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders and relate these back to how SAP solutions can support their goals. Establish & drive the execution for key sales strategies and campaigns with partners, marketing, and sales teams. Proactively stay up to date on industry-relevant SAP solution capabilities and the associated value proposition. Work with a diverse and virtual team across ANZ, APJ, and global on large, complex deals. Innovate across your industry and the solutions to big challenges. Attributes: Able to communicate with and engage audiences of all shapes and sizes. A leader who inspires teams to represent and deliver the right value-based outcomes for our customers and SAP. Able to make business sense of technology trends. Innovative, creative, and curious. A team player who loves to share, collaborate and contribute. Requires 10+ years of relevant professional experience, incl. 5+ years of experience in Natural Resources industries. Management consulting experience preferred.
