About you  In this position you will be a specialist in workplace relations, resolving issues and championing an atmosphere of collaboration and understanding. You will report to the Human Resource Manager and work closely with other senior personnel within business but also with external stakeholders such as unions. 
Within the People and Safety team, we partner to deliver an exciting strategic program that ultimately focuses on Metro delivering safe, reliable and efficient bus services.

A tertiary qualification in human resources, law, industrial relations, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in a human resources, with a deep understanding of labour laws and regulations.Demonstrated experience in providing sound advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR issues. Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring, persuading, and fostering positive connections.Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, forward-thinking atmosphere.As the largest Tasmanian owned passenger transport company, Metro takes pride in connecting people and communities across the region.
