About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a senior member to join our dynamic ICT Service Desk team.As the first point of contact for technical support, this team strives to provide exceptional service with a customer centric focus.It operates in a challenging environment with sites across multiple states and a combination of devices and applications which present excellent growth and learning opportunities.This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and will be located at our Melrose Park office but will require travel to other Workskil sites when needed.You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week.You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.This challenging role will be a well sought after opportunity, so we encourage you to submit your application at your earliest convenience.What we're looking forWe are looking for an IT professional with at least 2 years experience in a customer service focused IT support role.Ideally, you will be seeking a new challenge and a role with a step up in responsibility, as a senior member of the team you will be expected to pick up our systems quickly and become a mentor to other staff.You will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of;IT Service management, preferably via a ticketing toolActive Directory and User Account ManagementAdministration of Microsoft 365Deployment and management of a fleet of Windows PCs and Apple mobile devices, and their peripheralsCommunication systems like Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Microsoft TeamsWith a patient manner when providing technical support, you must be approachable and able to develop a positive rapport with a wide range of internal customers.You will have exemplary communication skills and be equally comfortable interacting verbally, in writing or in person.As part of a small team, you will need to be reliable and flexible, have excellent problem solving skills, be precise with a keen eye for detail, willingly accept responsibility to see things through, show initiative.As a senior member you will be expected to assist with the upskill and training of other team members and recommend process improvements.Above all else, we are looking for candidates who are aligned with and can demonstrate our organisational values in their work.You will also be required to hold a current driver's licence.
