The roleWorking within our Naval Combat Systems division, the Configuration Analyst will ensure that configuration and data management (CDM) activities are undertaken in accordance with the CDM Plan.
This will involve engineering baseline identification and management within the CM toolset, support for configuration and review boards, and support for CM audits and DM.Further, the successful candidate will perform:Configuration Management:Prepare agendas and minutes for Configuration Control and Review BoardsProgress change items through the review and Configuration Management process and prepare change authorisation documentation for presentation at review boardsSupport the analysis of proposed changes to assess up and downstream effect on overall systemWork with engineering and drafters to ensure models, drawings and parts are configured and structured within the CM toolEstablish and maintain baselines and material for major project review and milestone activitiesMaintain configuration item status and deliver Configuration Status Accounting Reports as requiredData Management support:Apply the processes and procedures for the identification, control and distribution of project data within the Data Management SystemLiaise with data owners/authors to ensure project documentation (e.g.
