About this opportunity Benmax are looking for an experienced and capable Senior Project Manager to join a busy, friendly, and professional team to work closely with the General Manager.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing project management expertise, leadership, mentoring, advice, and sharing their technical knowledge to contribute to the success of the business.
Our team is based in Queanbeyan, and you will be working on sites around the Canberra area. Responsibilities: Support and develop a skilled team capable of delivering exceptional project management to support all Divisions, align with the company's strategic goals and contribute to profitability.Work with the General Manager to develop and manage the budget, including allocation of resources to ensure the effectiveness of operations.Develop and deliver projects, monitor project progress and ensure project deliverables are met.Manage contracts, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure contract conformance.Promote and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards and Benmax WHSEQ systems.Contribute to Division planning and participate in other planning activities as required.Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure the smooth function of the business.Coach and support project managers to develop their project construction and project management skills.Set KPI's for team members and track performance.Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to strengthening and growing Benmax strategic stakeholder relationships.About you To be successful in the position, you will have the following:
MUST have permanent rights to work in Australia and ability to obtain a security clearance (essential).Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management or similar.Minimum ten years' experience in similar role.Current and unrestricted Australian Drivers' Licence.OH&S General Induction (White card).Work Health & Safety for Managers (Certificate IV WHS or equivalent).Highly developed project management skills.Expertise in mechanical/HVAC services.Awareness and understanding of construction contracts for the relevant jurisdiction.Ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.Commitment to support and coach your team.Highly developed workload planning, organisational and time management skills.Professional attitude and excellent attention to detail.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.A genuine interest and passion for working as part of a small, professional team.About us Benmax is a quality endorsed, national award-winning company and a leading mechanical services provider for industrial and commercial facilities.
