Reporting into the GM People & Culture, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide operational support across VIC/TAS to drive continuous improvement across the P&C function, whilst developing and supporting a local small team.
About the Position
As the People & Culture Partner - VIC/TAS you'll be a 'hands-on' operational partner to business leaders, understanding their needs and aligning HR operational strategies to help support business objectives. This role will also provide significant exposure across operational related functions, as well as the opportunity to be involved in national P&C projects including D&I, policies & procedures, company values, and organisational wellness programs.
Reporting to the General Manager of P&C, some key responsibilities will include:

Providing accurate and commercially realistic industrial advice to line managers including recommendations on escalated employee grievances, employment matters, and legislative requirements.
Leading a small recruitment team to manage the end-to-end employee onboarding process, including bulk recruitment for both small and large tenders ensuring a seamless experience from recruitment to onboarding.
Championing and assisting to implement engagement initiatives, programs, and activities to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
Management of wellness programs and preventative safety including overseeing safety dashboard metrics and RTW programs VIC/TAS.
Providing analytics and reporting using implemented HR systems across VIC/TAS (Kronos & Solve Injury), ensuring accurate and timely reports for decision making.

The Person
Proven experience in a P&C generalist capacity, with a previous focus on HR operations within your previous role whilst operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment will see you excel. Prior commercial experience where you have enjoyed both the opportunity and desire to 'work on the business' as well as being 'in the business', whilst possessing a confident, inquisitive, and fun attitude will see you build effective relationships.
