Senior HR & Recruitment Advisor - South of the River Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)

This is a varied and interesting permanent role where you will be joining a warm and friendly team environment.
This position will be Employee Relations focused and there will also be a significant amount of recruitment involved with both blue positions so this must be an area you enjoy. There is minimal IR involved as our client has their own EBA in place.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for: Employee relations - advising hiring managers on Fair Work legislation and best practice HR policy and procedure - dealing with terminations, complaints & grievances, performance management, absenteeism, safety breaches, conducting investigations etc. Manage Employee Relations matters including investigations and outcomes whilst managing the whole process from start to finish. Issue any relevant written ER related warnings and drafting important documentation (must have a very good command of English grammar and writing formal HR letters and emails). Providing advice and assisting employees & Managers on HR related matters. Responsible for the onboarding, mobilisation and induction of all new employees. Managing the blue-collar recruitment process to attract and retain employees. Work closely with the owners of the business in the development and implementation of HR Strategies and Recruitment strategies. The Successful Candidate: Construction or Mining (blue collar orientated) experience will be highly regarded. Must have either HR or Business Administration qualification. Ability to manage Employee Relations matters individually and offer advice to managers, including conducting investigations and driving positive outcomes whilst managing the whole process from start to finish. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in HR & Recruitment. Must be experienced in Employee Relations matters. Understand and be familiar with Fair Work Legislation to mitigate risk from the business. What you can expect in return: Highly competitive salary: $130k-$150k + super. Training will be given in the areas where you need development such as IR/EBA's.
