Recruitment - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time Established in 1974, MACS Australia Group Pty Ltd is a proud West Australian family-owned company providing Construction, Maintenance, and Multidisciplinary services across the Mining, Commercial, and Industrial Sectors in Perth and Regional Western Australia.
MACS Australia is seeking an experienced full-time Senior HR | Recruitment Advisor to join our team in Canning Vale WA.
This position will be both Employee Relations and Recruitment focused with a significant amount of recruitment involved with both blue and white collar positions, so this must be an area you enjoy.
This role would perform the following responsibilities: Employee Management during the Employee Life Cycle such as performance management, employee changes, and terminations.
Assist with End-to-End Recruitment and Mobilisation of Blue-Collar, White Collar, and Project Personnel (advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, medicals, drafting offers of employment, onboarding, training, PPE, inductions) Ensure the integrity of the HR Information Systems (Employment Hero and Training Registers) Work closely with the owners of the business in the development and implementation of HR Strategies and Recruitment strategies Manage the day-to-day HR, Recruitment, Training and Induction Administration Other General Administration as required to support the business.
Skills/experience and personal attributes required to be considered for this position: 2 - 5 Years minimum experience in Human Resources & recruitment in the construction or mining industries Must have either HR or Business Administration qualification Advanced communication (written, verbal and public speaking) and problem-solving skills High level of integrity and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive HR matters Must be experienced in Employee Relations matters with the ability to manage matters individually and offer advice to managers, including conducting investigations and driving positive outcomes whilst managing the whole process from start to finish Ability to interpret awards and enterprise agreements.
Have a high level of attention to detail and great organisational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle What we offer in return: Full Time Permanent Office Based Role 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
