We are looking for a Senior HR leader to join our growing team in the North Sydney office. This newly established role is critical to the future success of our organisation, as we look to enhance our HR capabilities and support the achievement of our strategic goals.
The Role
This role is responsible for leading the HR function to drive operational excellence and ensuring seamless HR functions. This pivotal role requires providing strategic coaching and guidance to the Human Resources team and the broader business to deliver the organisational strategy. It will lead the HR function to operational excellence in strategic partnership with the business. This role involves guiding the HR team and developing HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and values. The focus will be on growth, including attraction, retention, and development of staff.
This role will be crucial in shaping the HR department's direction, anticipating the need for additional support as the company grows, and integrating new HR roles to maintain operational efficiency. In essence, the Senior HR Manager will be a key driver of TTW's success, fostering a culture where employees are empowered to contribute significantly to the company's mission.
Your Main Responsibilities
Manage the HR function and HR team members.
Develop and execute the global HR strategy.
Lead strategic workforce planning to support the organisations growth targets.
Build and implement HR solutions, internal policy and process improvements.
Lead performance management, remuneration and benefits, succession planning and change management strategic initiatives with support of the Senior HR Advisors.
Coach and partner with managers to ensure HR strategy is managed effectively across all locations.
Implement and oversee an effective performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Assess training needs to develop an effective learning and development strategy.
Provide high level strategic, process and negotiation support to Executive Leaders.
Coach leaders through periods of transformation and change.
Manage industrial relations escalations and liaise with external legal partners.
Conduct thorough analysis, monitoring, and creation of key people metrics to anticipate risks, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead, support and coach the HR team to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
About You
Tertiary qualification in human resources, law, industrial relations or another relevant field.
At least 8 years of experience in HR.
Previous experience in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of IR/ER legislation.
The ability to manage stakeholder expectations and effectively influence.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Experience in the consulting industry highly desirable.
