Your new role
Reporting to the Manager - People Advisory, you will support leaders to provide a great place to work for employees, and a great service to our customers. As a Senior Advisor you will support leaders minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes.
Providing advice, support and coaching to leaders on matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, behaviour and team culture.
Undertaking workplace investigations of varying levels of complexity
Coaching leaders to improve their people management capability
Providing advice on the interpretation of enterprise agreement and employment contracts
Participating in the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of employee relations initiatives, processes, policies, and procedures and ways of working.
You may also have the opportunity to be involved in claims and disputes before the Fair Work Commission/Equal Opportunity Commission
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be working within a collaborative, fun, supportive team environment and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills on a variety of matters and projects. You are business focused, great at building relationships and offer strong coaching and mentoring skills. You'll also have the experience and confidence to provide guidance on a range of people and employment relations matters. This is a a hands-on role, you will be willing to get stuck in, working with the team and leaders to resolve issues effectively.
You must be degree qualified in Human Resources or related discipline and have significant experience as a Generalist or within employee relations/case management ideally in a larger organisation. Experience of working within a blue collar workforce would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
This role is due to last for 6 months and comes with a competitive rate up to $69 per hour + Super.
