Job Description The Role The Senior HR Advisor will act as a key support to their designated client groups including group companies and associated entities.
They will provide guidance and support in generalist HR advice, recruitment, learning and development, remuneration and benefits, and a particular focus on workplace health & safety.
Some additional responsibilities also include: Act in the role of employer appointed WHS representative for the Melbourne office and provide guidance on WHS policy and procedural matters.
Manage end to end recruitment for designated client groups including conducting interviews.
Evaluate, assess, and recommend appropriate remuneration for positions according to internal and external benchmarking.
Assess external training providers and course content to identify appropriate training programs for employees.
Monitor and review employment legislation to ensure organisational compliance.
Lead and/or support HR projects as required.
Desired Skills and Experience The Person As a experienced HR Advisor, you are ready to further grow your HR career within a global organisation, collaborating with stakeholders from various industries and backgrounds.
You are a team player who is productive, keen to learn and open minded.
You will also possess: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or a degree where HR was the major discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist role supporting client groups.
Demonstrated experience managing workplace health & safety matters.
Demonstrated experience in driving HR initiatives and projects.
Experience using HRIS, ATS or SAP systems.
Working knowledge of Australian employment law and related legislation.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and coordinate work to meet deadlines.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
High level of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Demonstrated willingness and effectiveness in collaborating within a HR team and with others on group projects.
