Senior Heritage Officer- CL 9/10 2x positions: 1x Ongoing and 1x Temporary until 29/02/2028 Located in Eveleigh, Sydney CBD with convenient access to major transport hubs Flexible working arrangements available Competitive salary ranging from $120,859 to $133,183 p.a. plus superannuation 35 hour work week plus Flex Leave Entitlements Fitness Passport unlocking access to 1500+ fitness facilities About the Role School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
As a Senior Heritage Officer you will play a vital role in providing technical advice and expertise on the management of the Department's items of heritage significance, in consultation with Aboriginal organisations, Heritage NSW, community groups, project teams, and other key stakeholders, to promote informed infrastructure planning, design and development.

About You The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in providing advice on heritage and conservation management. Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including Heritage NSW, Aboriginal Organisations, and community groups. Essential requirements of the role Relevant tertiary qualifications in Heritage or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education. Key knowledge and experience Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
