Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you will be joining a talented WHS team delivering expert HSW advice, support, and solutions to the organisation.
As the Senior Health & Safety Business Partner, you will focus on Nine's Publishing, Digital, Corporate, and Sales business units to create a safe, healthy, and thriving work environment.
This is a varied and exciting role where no two days will be the same!
You will partner with leaders, managing diverse psycho-social risk in a variety of situations - from reporters and journalists working in war zones to extreme events like floods and bushfires.
This is a unique opportunity to join Nine on a 12-month fixed-term contract during a time of cultural and business transformation!
Day to day you will: Deliver and execute the annual HSW strategyPartner, coach, train and guide operational leaders and employees on all areas of HSWCoordinate response to key risks as they arise and conduct investigations and make recommendations on controlsShare and drive ideas and improvements, including industry best practices to contribute to the ongoing execution of the HSW strategy, aligned to the people strategy and Nine's strategic business prioritiesManage, coach, train and guide members of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing teamContribute to the design and implementation of frameworks, tools, processes and other mechanisms to ensure effective implementation and proper governance throughout NineWork collaboratively with the HSW team and broader People & Culture team to ensure communications and deliverables are aligned and fit for purposeQualificationsWe are seeking a motivated and experienced HSW expert with a passion for people leadership to join our dedicated team and drive a workplace where every employee feels safe and supported!
