Job Description The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Lead the financial reports & statutory account preparation process, including disclosures and consolidationsTax: BAS, FBTBe the point of contact for the auditorsLead the annual tax accounting and compliance processBoard reportingPreparation of accounting position papersLead the month-end accounting processAccounting and tax consolidation work papersIncome tax calculations and tax accounting journalsInter-company reconciliationsAccounting for investments, derivatives, and debt facilitiesProcess improvement initiativesOther ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Financial Controller and CFOSupport and partner with FP&A teamThe Successful Applicant CA/CPA QualifiedBig-4 or mid-tier audit background preferred3+ Years Experience in industry in a similar roleExcellent presentation and communication skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel skills preferredStrong technical accounting skillsWhat's on Offer Competitive salary/remunerationOpportunity to progress and develop into a managerial positionCompetitive Bonus/Short term incentivesImmediate startCentral CBD Offices
