The Role: Reporting to our Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in efficient management of Pepperstone's Group data and accounts. Working in a close-knit finance team, you will have an opportunity to make a true impact in this role and grow with your ideas and hands-on approach, ensuring integrity and compliance for reporting and decision making.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Be a key change agent within our ongoing finance transformation. Support strong performance and outcomes of finance processes run by our offshore team. Complete core month-end processes with speed and accuracy whilst driving improvements of these processes. Prepare fully supported balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline and apply an inquisitive mindset to how our balance sheet is managed. Prepare quarterly, half-year and annual statutory accounts. Provide ongoing support to the Head of Tax to deliver on FBT, GST and income tax compliance and progress initiatives and tax-related reviews. Support annual group audit activities. Be a key conduit with other Finance teams to automate and streamline finance processes. Develop and maintain internal financial controls. Play a key role in maintaining the ERP system and implementing enhancements. About you: A tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance. CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years experience (Big 4 audit experience preferred). Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS. Ability to effectively meet tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail. A strong finance transformation and financial control mindset. Ability to be hands-on and adapt to changing environments and willingness to learn new processes and embrace new ideas. Ideally worked in an onshore/offshore hybrid model. Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated experience with finance systems and BI tools. Experience with SQL will be considered an advantage. Ability to live the Pepperstone values. Committed to ongoing learning and development.
