Job Description About the role: As the Senior Functional Analyst specialising in Oracle Fusion Projects, you are responsible for supporting and enhancing Nova's Oracle Platform Service that support business operations and processes. The role is responsible for undertaking work that is moderately complex to complex in nature, under limited direction, utilising expertise in systems and operational support across a geographically dispersed network. The Senior Functional Analyst is a key member of the Oracle Support team, specialising in Project Portfolio Management (PPM). This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities crucial to the seamless operation, optimisation, and enhancement of PPM modules within the Oracle ecosystem. Moreover, the role supports the Oracle Platform Lead with strategic planning, governance, and oversight to ensure the efficient utilisation and alignment of PPM modules with organisational objectives. What will you be involved in: Manage the day-to-day functional support of our Oracle Fusion Cloud system with respect to the scope of Project Foundation, Project Control, Project Costing & Billing, and Project Execution Management Manage support requests, escalating to support providers and vendors when required Lead the design and implementation phases of new systems initiatives, providing functional analysis and design to ensure that new systems meet operational, control and information requirements with moderate supervision Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to coordinate system issues and enhancements across the Oracle environment Analyse, define and document business needs for the relevant business area in accordance with technical (functional / non-functional) requirements Assists end users in analysing business processes, identifying problems, and utilising systems tools to enhance the work's effectiveness Lead the development of systems documentation and end user systems operating procedures to ensure that effective controls exist Contribute to the preparation of training materials and assist with training end users Collaborate with the Product Owner and business users to define test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria in line with the overall strategy Support the Oracle Platform Lead with strategic planning, governance and oversight to ensure the efficient utilisation and alignment of PPM modules with organisational objectives What we would like from you: 7+ years' experience with Oracle ERP Project modules and a minimum of 3-4 years implementation experience in large complex organisations Proven experience working with Oracle PPM modules, including hands-on experience with configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting Strong understanding of PPM processes, principles, and requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences Build strong trusted working relationships with key stakeholders Full working rights in Australia Life At Nova In addition to salary, you are supported with: Flexible ways of working and dress for your day Commitment to Professional and Personal Development Reward & Recognition Program offering exclusive discounts from hundreds of major retailers, helping you to save on groceries, petrol, holidays and more!
