Senior Fullstack Engineer

Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology)Join a leading Australian SaaS provider in the document automation space, with a strong presence in the Australian legal industry.Seeking an experienced Full-stack Senior Angular, Python Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Your expertise will drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain efficient and reliable web applications and RESTful APIs using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).Design, develop, and optimize SQL database schemas and queries to ensure high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.Utilize object-relational mapping (ORM) tools like SQLAlchemy for database access.Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect backend APIs using cloud services such as AWS Cognito or similar.Integrate with third-party systems and services to enable seamless data exchange.Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with Angular-based user interfaces.Experience:Proven experience as a Backend Software Developer, with at least 5 years of experience.Experienced in developing front-end using Angular.Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.Extensive knowledge of RESTful API development and principles.Solid understanding of SQL databases and proficiency in writing efficient queries.Proficiency in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) including serverless functions and managed databases.Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly Angular, and ability to collaborate with frontend developers.Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.Must be a team player and work together with the team to achieve the business goals.
