You will play an integral role in enhancing and revitalising their financial market infrastructure platform, which is approaching its end-of-life phase.
Leveraging your expertise across Java, React, Kafka, AWS, and Python, you will spearhead the design and implementation of advanced functionalities aimed at upgrading, modernising, and re-platforming critical technology components.
Key Responsibilities: Designing and developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the financial market infrastructure platform.Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Driving the end-to-end development life cycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.Utilising your proficiency in Java Microservices to architect robust and efficient back-end systems.Harnessing your front-end expertise in React to craft intuitive and responsive user interfaces.Leveraging AWS cloud services to optimise performance, scalability, and reliability.Employing data modelling techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data storage and retrieval processes.Demonstrating exceptional communication skills to foster collaboration and alignment across multidisciplinary teams.Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in Java Microservices development.Proficiency in front-end development utilising React framework.Extensive knowledge of banking and capital market domains, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.Proven expertise in data modelling techniques and database management systems.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.This role presents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in application development within the realm of a leading financial institution in Australia.
