We would love you to have/be: Ability to lead a team with a high level of independence;Ability to train, mentor, and coach staff under supervision;Ability to recognise and manage competing priorities and through planning and adjusting activities meet deadlines to expected standards;Demonstrated experience in forest operations with the ability to implement operational plans;Well-developed negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills to deal with varied stakeholders;Developed technical skills in navigation, GPS, and smart devices;Developed computer literacy and ability to use routine software;Capacity to operate plant (particularly fire tanker), chainsaw and other equipment;Capacity and willingness to undertake and coordinate fire management activities;Current valid drivers' licence with ability to obtain a Medium Rigid drivers' licence.For further information about the role please contact Dave Anderson & Stewardship & Fire Supervisor on: 0427 463 160 APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 23 DECEMBER 2024 @ 11:59PM AEDT Applications are accepted through our online system only.
