Provide technical accounting support and research to the group and its business units.This is a permanent opportunity in the Group Finance, based at Alexandria, in purpose built offices with great technology and collaboration spaces.Key responsibilities:Preparation of half year and full year reporting requirements for the GroupPreparation and review of subsidiary financial statementsPreparation of full year reporting requirements relating to Group Compliance and SolvencyAssist in preparation of Audit Committee and Board papersAssist in providing technical accounting support to the businessPreparation of technical accounting papers to document and support group accounting positionsDevelop and drive continuous improvement in the accounting and reporting processBuild and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersAbout you:You are a Chartered Accountant and bring a couple of years post qualification experience ideally from a Big 4 Accounting background or similar field. You understand financial reporting in a public company environment (either through direct experience or audit) and have a strong interest in technical accounting.Skills and experience:Experience in a similar and/or working with auditorsStrong attention to detailPrevious SAP and Onestream experience is highly advantageousSolid ability to analyse, understand and solve problemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOur total remuneration is competitive.
