Senior Financial Accountant

YOUR MISSION
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the PUMA team!
This role will support to ensure the accuracy of all financial accounting matters relating to the PUMA businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Processing accounting journals, including monthly accruals/provisions
Ensure timely completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Maintain Fixed Asset register and reports, ensuring accurate transactions are recorded in the respective Asset accounts.
Intercompany reporting
Cash Forecasting and Treasury
Payroll accounting and reporting
Insurances administration and management
Royalty Reporting
Support statutory and other compliance matters, including:
Preparation and lodgment of Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reporting
Preparation and lodgment of Payment Times Reporting
External and internal audits
Support the Finance Teamhead with the preparation of the annual financial statements
Work closely with Accounts Payable team to approve payments using the online banking portal
Assisting in process improvements, system improvements, and any other tasks or ad hoc requests as assigned
Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements
YOUR TALENT
CPA/CA qualified
A minimum of 5 years accounting experience
Business oriented
Accounting knowledge covering both Australia and New Zealand
Advanced MS-office
Analytical and problem solving
Good communication
Organised and process driven mindset
