With license to see things through your way, and the option to split your time between office and home, RACV is where you'll make a difference.About the OpportunityAs Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of statutory and external reporting requirements, including accounting advice.
You will also prepare Group Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements including budgets.Supporting RACV Finance Limited, you will play a key role in the Group statutory and financial reporting process by assisting with month end processes.Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:Preparation of related Audit Committee papersCompletion and lodgement of statistical reporting e.g.
ABS reportsAnnual FBT return reconciliationPreparation of monthly Group Consolidation journals and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the general ledgerDevelopment/maintenance of the Group Chart of Accounts, including the Accounts dictionaryDrive continuous improvement in reporting, accounting and general ledger practicesAssistance with the development and review of company policies and proceduresWho we're looking for and what you'll bring:Completed a degree in Accounting / Commerce / BusinessCA/CPA qualifiedExtensive background in accounting for financial instruments and the Group Consolidation processDetailed knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards, including IFRSKnowledge of accounting systems and general tax legislationPrevious experience in the role of Financial AccountantHighly developed written and verbal skills including formal presentationsStrong analytical skills and with a keen attention to detailFinancial modelling and a focus on continuous improvementExperience working in an accounting firm or within an internal finance teamThere's so much on offer when you join RACV with benefits including:Our flexible and informal work environment which helps bring balance between work and home.Generous discounts on home and car insurance policies and RACV roadside care.Club Membership and great discounts across all RACV resorts.Discounts from corporate partners that are updated monthly.Our differenceAt RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success.
