The Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller in managing monthly and annual financial reporting for multiple entities. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner, ensuring compliance, financial analysis, and effective reporting across a variety of business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly and annual financial reporting for assigned entities.
Prepare cash flows, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyse project costings and provide insights to business partners and the Financial Controller.
Assist with group consolidations, tax compliance, and audits.
Prepare BAS, FBT, superannuation, and payroll tax returns.
Reconcile general ledger items on a monthly basis.
Support financial compliance and offer financial insights to non-finance managers.
Identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
CPA/CA/CIMA qualification (or working towards completion).
Strong experience with ERP systems (CHEOPS, SAP, Oracle, or Finance One).
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Solid understanding of GST, FBT, and PAYG compliance.
