Due to the dynamic nature of our organisation, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks that contribute to Mercy College's core business, with a strong focus on:Welcoming visitors, parents and assisting with face to face and phone enquiriesEnd to end bankingCustomer service to both internal and external stakeholdersContributing to the administrative and financial functions of the College to support student learningAccounts receivableAssisting with the end of month, financial reconciliations, and end of year processesBacking up team members in areas such as payroll and accounts payableWhat you will ideally bring to the role:High level of customer service know-how with well-developed verbal and written communication skillsExperience in finance or accounting practicesExcellent organisational skills and time managementHigh level of integrity consistent with working in a finance team and attention to detailSolutions focused with a mind for process improvementTeam player with a positive outlookThis position is part-time 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) and offers an ongoing contract starting 1 January 2025.
