Permanent full-time opportunity to support the Business Manager, STARS by providing assistance in the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecast process.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Work closely with the Business Manager, STARS Executive and broader hospital and Service Line Management.Demonstrate an understanding of the various financial and non-financial information systems that can provide useful management information to assist in the ongoing management of the business units within STARS.Provide analysis, recommendation and advice to managers, directors and clinicians on information extracted from corporate information systems such as the costing system, DSS and S/4HANA, to assist in the strategic management process for the Service Line.Provide monthly reporting and comprehensive analysis of the Service's performance in terms of expenditure, FTE and activity, identifying and explaining any relevant variances.
