Job Description How will I help?

This role is part of the UNITE Technology Finance team in the Technology Division. Working with a group of professionals, this role is accountable for being a trusted adviser to the UNITE Technology supporting the divisions, providing financial advice, planning, forecasting and solutions to assist the business achieve its strategy and business priorities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring there is a strong relationship and communication channels between Divisions and the UNITE Technology team.Support the UNITE divisional business to achieve cost targets & forecasts.Support the UNITE divisional business in the financial modelling required for business cases, change requests and scenario analysis.Maintain effective business analysis and advice to the UNITE leadership teams and stakeholders in line with the Finance Control Framework.Support the UNITE divisional business unit/s projects proactively driving the project outcomes that achieve project targets.Would sit on the relevant SteerCos to help understand the projects big rocks, milestones and risks to help proactively manage the financial implicationsProvide robust forecast inputs to the forecasting process to enable the production of an accurate and timely 1 or 3-year financial forecast.Provide key drivers to senior management including detailed commentary and analysis of the forecast, identifying, and managing risks and opportunities. What do I need? Previous experience in financial management and the financial services industryCA/CPA QualifiedAbility to effectively influence, negotiate and manage expectations at a senior management levelExperience supporting large and diverse cost baseProject execution (including Agile) and Technology experience an advantage What is it like to work there?
