We are seeking a SENIOR FINANCE AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
JOB TYPE: FULL TIME

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
Complete day-to-day processes in line with the agreed benchmarks.
Ensuring a coordinated approach to customer matters by working closely with team members.
Utilizing the required systems and processes to ensure payments are made to stakeholders for our customers in a timely manner.
Issuing invoices for monthly billing and shipment billing.
Processing sales and purchase invoices forwarded by Procurement.
Accounts receivables and payables and related reconciliations.
Bank reconciliations.
Month end closing in MYOB and related reconciliations.
Basic variance analysis on expenses.
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register including depreciation.
ISO Requirements – Quality & Work Health & Safety.
Documentation design, preparation and submission.
Monitoring for compliance.
Exercise Wallaby – work together with Assistant Manager Business Support to manage the finance processes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Tertiary education in Bookkeeping / Accounting / related discipline.
Cert IV Work Health and Safety.
Current Driver's License.
Be able to get Baseline Security Clearance (Online - Federal Police Check).

Knowledge of Attaché & Powerlink Operation.
Understanding of Working with Contracts.
Work experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 compliance.

What we offer:
Working hours 07:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 15:30 Friday.
9-day fortnight.
Based in Rockhampton as per our workplace collective agreement.
Annual Military training periods (generally between 45 to 84 days) – Finance & admin staff are historically still based at the Rockhampton depot, but most other team members are deployed to the military training area.
Over this period rostering is based on six days on / one day off roster and paid at a generous fixed daily rate to compensate for the longer hours worked supporting the military training exercise.
Remuneration - We pay above award wages, based on experience.
